Four amazing victories: highest score of the year!
Last weekend Wup and I went to the CDN in Zelhem, The Netherlands. We could ride four tests there, twice the Prix St.Georges and twice the Intermediaire I. We won them all, and even with the highest score of the year: 74,61%!
"It was a weekend that I will never forget. Wup was on his best, and there were still some minor things we can improve. On the first day, the connection in the walk could have been more quiet. On the second day, we missed a flying change in the PsG and the canter zigzag in the Inter1 could have been better.
We scored 74,61% and 73,4% on the first day, which meant the highest score of the year in The Netherlands in both tests. On the second day, we scored 71,18% and 72,24% (with those mistakes)!!!
So all four tests over 71%, all winning and all amazing! We scored all 8's and 9's for the double counting exercises. Those are my favorites to ride: pirouettes, half pirouettes, the tempi-changes, the half-passes. We also got a 9 for entering the arena several times, and for the rider's position and seat and the effectiveness of the aids.
It was like living in a dream, I even slept bad after those successes, it kept me awake and I have to think about these great moments over and over again.
But tomorrow is a new day. Preparations for the Dutch National Championships start, those will be in 2,5 weeks. Time flies and ofcourse we will have to improve on some things.
But for now... still enjoying it!
