Silver medal in Dutch National Championship
The Dutch National Seniors Dressage Championships took place from 9 - 13 June 2010 in De Steeg, The Netherlands. It was a great show, in which Joyce won a silver medal in the Small Tour with Wup!.jpg)
"We won the first part of the championship, the Prix St.Georges, with 74,04%. It was an amazing test, I was in a flow, everything went okay and we got several 8s and 9s. In the Intermediaire I we had a communication error in the reinback, in which Wup stood like a statue and did nothing.... we got a 0 for that, so in the end we finished third with a score of 71,13%. The rest of the test was still just amazing.
In the freestyle final we scored 74,6%, which put us second in the overall leaderboard, right behind the reigning champion Madeleine Witte with Vontango B, the champions of last winter. Hans Peter Minderhoud and his mount Ridderkerk won the bronze. I am very proud of Wup, he did a great job and with an average of almost 74%, I can only say it was my best championship ever!"
