Blog day 9: relax day in Salt Lake City |

We left the big wild parks behind us and travelled south heading for the city of the Olympic Winter Games in 2002: Salt Lake City.
With the thought of the winter games, I thought of snow, cold weather, etc. However in Salt Lake it is Summer, about 34 degrees! Right now it's hardly imaginable that during the Winter here is so much snow!
After arrival in our hotel we walked downtown for some sightseeing. It is a quiet and clean city. The temples of the Mormons are impressive. Many buildings look like they were built in Rome or Paris.
We have a nice hotel here, a pool and there is a Cheesecake Factory!
